Technical Notes

Home videos were done with a Pentax Optio A20 for the video. It's mainly a still camera; its video quality is reasonably good but the sound is terrible, so the sound was recorded separately with a pair of Schoeps MK41 mics (carefully concealed just out of camera view), a DAV BG1 preamp and Edirol R-09 recorder, and mixed back with the video. Unfortunately YouTube still manages to degrade the sound badly in processing.
