The Ogg Vorbis Format

Ogg Vorbis is like MP3 but has none of the patent infringement controversy that surrounds the software for making MP3s. If you are using Windows Media Player, you can get a code for OGG from Vorbis' site or from WMPlugins. Many Windows sound players such as Winamp or the excellent Foobar2000 can play Ogg files too - see the Ogg Vorbis Site for details.
